Sorry...it's the big 50th celebration. I have agreed to tow on Sunday afternoon.I am pretty sure no one would fly Sat anyway because it is still going to be quite breezy.

I'll be there Sunday! It hit just better than 70 here today, warming the ground nicely, I'm guessing it got a little better than that down south in Whitewater, winds coming out of the South tomorrow too. I'm thinking it could be a decent day - of course I'll wait to hear Greg report :)

Cheers!

Gusty 10-15mph SE/S winds started around 9am, took the DoodleBug up to 3,200 feet at 11am where it finally smoothed out. A rough flight in trashy air and was happy to be down. Winds kept up so we canceled afternoon Scooter Tow classes but gave a possible new club member from Waukegan (Jerry Sullivan) a good tour of the operation and he had tons of questions.

Dell had first aerotow of the afternoon and he landed on his feet! (thanks to the nice headwind). Kruno got high on tow and Rik gave him the rope and Ken did a final tandem near sunset and Stan says he is ready to solo. Herb took the rust off with a tandem also.
